This is a full-time, hybrid role with our office in Greenville, SC. This position does require 3 days in the office and 2 days that can be completed remotely from home. 


Who we are looking for:

Gerber Childrenswear is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven specialist to support technology integrations and development of web-based projects from the inception stage to the live online deployment on Gerberchildrenswear.com. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to determine site project roadmap, communicate with internal and external teams on the development of new / updated technology, and prepare project status reports.
To ensure success as a specialist, the ideal candidate should possess experience in web design and development, strong communication skills to support web development initiatives, and the ability to manage multiple projects. A first-class ecommerce specialist will be someone who can ensure successful quality assurance testing and deployment of all site changes.


Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science with coursework in graphic design, web development, or similar – OR – equivalent work experience in a web-focused role
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, preferred
  • Experience with Shopify, preferred
  • Experience in project management, preferred
  • Superb leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Relevant knowledge of advancements and trends in web design and development
  • Exceptional ability to contribute creativity and innovation to web projects

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine clear deliverables, expectations and timelines for web-based projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with third party vendors to research and evaluate technology solution options and present the cost/benefit analysis to Director of eCommerce
  • Communicate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure all designs are user-friendly, SEO-friendly, ADA compliant and follow web best practices
  • Ensure successful quality assurance testing and monitor live deployments of new technology and site updates
  • Ensure development projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Document site-specific processes, 3rd party app integrations and usage, and custom content
  • Collaborate on project progress updates and website demonstrations for full-team awareness
  • Keep abreast of developments and trends in website design and development
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment of all marketing campaigns, product launches, and custom pages
  • Support overall site structure, monitor URL usage for marketing initiatives, page load errors, and redirects
