POSITION SUMMARY- Inventory Control Associate – Cycle Counter: This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts throughout the facility; ensuring inventory is accurate and resolving discrepancies which may arise.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Count and verify accuracy of product in assigned inventory locations using RF scanner equipment.
- Assist in reconciling variances brought forth through cycle counting.
- Resolve discrepancies which arise during cycle counts, by way of product transfer, relocation, or removing/replacing damaged items.
- Re-box damaged cartons found in inventory locations, utilizing raw materials/boxes to rework and label maker to reprint carton labels.
- Actively implement 5S principles during cycle counting process (Sort, Straighten, Sustain, Sweep, Standardize).
- Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
- Ability to use computer to perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Observe and follow safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk, and lift cartons up to 25 lbs.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year of prior warehouse experience preferred, related to inventory control.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with a large, fast-paced team.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention-to-detail.
- Strong Mathematical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Lift knowledge
- Computer knowledge – proficient in current office applications.
